This Month’s Visiting Artist: Heather Chila (Horch)

I am an artist, as well as a visual arts teacher.  Most of my work is abstract, but many are of the female form.  I’m drawn to the beautiful curves and lines that the female figure creates; how they evoke a sense of emotion.  My abstract art allows me to explore color, texture and line while infusing a part of myself into my work.  It allows for more freedom and creativity!

Every painting I create expresses how beautiful and unique we are as individuals.  My hope is to bring happiness, wonder and fascination into not only my life, but to those who view my work!
